Two work monitors, one TV: Do you need HaloShort there?
Your home workstation already has two monitors. A living-room TV may be more comfortable when several people want to choose a short drama together with a remote. HaloShort is available on compatible TV devices.
Planning a workstation: don't just count how many screens
The desk setup, partitions, and office chair are arranged around work, and monitors usually face a fixed seat. It's fine if family members briefly stand nearby to watch a segment, but if everyone wants to watch several episodes together, angle and seating become issues. When the living-room TV already has seating arranged for multiple people, using it is often more convenient.
This also means computer monitors and TVs can't simply substitute for each other by size. A monitor handles display, but running apps still depends on the connected device; whether a TV can use HaloShort depends on the system and device compatibility, and you can't judge by the brand on the casing alone.
On Google TV, you're looking for a standalone app entry
On compatible Google TV and Android TV devices, HaloShort can be navigated and episodes selected with the TV remote. The computer doesn't have to keep showing the work desktop to the TV, and chat windows, files, and the browser don't have to appear in front of the whole family.
Open HaloShort to learn about the app; the download entry is in the Emotn store. Content is currently free—after installing, pick a drama you're interested in and see whether the remote controls and actual subtitles suit your viewing habits.
Watching halfway at the desk: note your place before switching to the TV
If you use it on different devices, don't treat the original device's favorites or progress as an automatically shared record. Remembering the title and episode number and finding your place through episode selection on the TV is more direct. If you only continue watching on the same TV, local favorites can keep your candidates and save you from searching again.
