A foreign-invested office-furniture maker from the chair town of China
Qianglong has built office furniture in Anji, Zhejiang since 1997. In 2008 Canada's Global Group and Shanghai Fosun invested jointly, and the group now runs two production bases with overseas offices in the US, UK and Canada.
We started in 1997 in Anji — the county that became China's chair-manufacturing cluster, where the supply chain for mesh, foam, gas lifts, bases and board sits packed into a small area. Growing up inside that ecosystem is the plain reason we can quote sharply and still control quality: most of what goes into a chair or a desk is made next door, not shipped in.
In 2008 the business took joint investment from Canada's Global Group and Shanghai Fosun, and in 2009 a Shanghai subsidiary (民友格乐博 / MYGlobal) was set up for the domestic market. For export buyers the useful part of that history is operational, not financial: foreign investors meant Western expectations on documentation and packing came in early, and the group has kept offices abroad ever since.
Two bases, one order
The group runs two production bases — 强龙椅业 and 康士得 — across roughly 450 mu of land and about 180,000 m² of factory floor. That is what lets us put chairs, executive seating, workstation systems, sofas and panel furniture on a single order and ship them together. A buyer furnishing a whole office is not stitching together five suppliers; the parts are made under one group and packed to one schedule.
Where we are honest about our limits
We do not publish certificate numbers we cannot stand behind. Our products carry Greenguard low-emission certification, and we build to BIFMA and EN test standards with third-party testing (such as SGS) arranged per order. But we will not claim a blanket ISO or BIFMA "certified" status we cannot show you. If your market needs a specific mark, say so early and we will scope the testing into the programme instead of pretending it already exists.
